The video game tournament has been postponed! There will be no fundraiser on December 7. The new date has not yet been determined, but it will fall after build season, some time in the spring.
All details that have already been established for the fundraiser will be recorded and stored for reference when we are getting ready for the tournament on its new date.
These are the last few details that need to be worked out before the tournament:
*We need food donations. A form will be sent out to parents of team members so the team can contribute food, but we will also be requesting donations from outside sources. A list of these sponsors needs to be made so we can contact them in advance.
*A prize needs to be determined and acquired.
*We need to continue contacting people involved about the tournaments being rescheduled (ie Mr. Palmieri, the administration, etc)
*A program to assist in the bracketing needs to be created.
*Advertising! This includes getting posters and fliers distributed (and getting the tournament date changed on them), getting tickets ready for registration, and getting the tournament put into the morning announcements.
*As we get closer to the new tournament date, we will need to determine who on the team will be providing the Wii consoles and/or controllers
